Randomised Reward Probabilities – Arrocade: Arrow Combo Blast

Last updated: 31 Jul 2026한국어

This page discloses the probabilities of the randomised reward boxes in Arrocade: Arrow Combo Blast, an iOS game published by theworkers.

It is published to satisfy the Republic of Korea’s Game Industry Promotion Act (Enforcement Decree Article 19-2, in force since 22 March 2024), which requires the probabilities of randomised virtual items to be disclosed in the game, on the publisher’s official website, and in advertising. The figures here are the same figures shown inside the game.

How boxes are obtained

Boxes are not bought directly with money. They are bought with coins, the in-game currency. Coins are earned by playing the game, and can also be purchased with real money as an in-app purchase. Buying a box therefore involves an indirect purchase through the coin currency.

Boxes are also granted for free by in-game achievements: 36 of the game’s 108 achievements award a box. Free boxes use exactly the same probabilities as purchased boxes — everything on this page applies to both.

Per-item drop probability

Each box grants a fixed number of power-ups, each drawn at random from four possible powers: ZAP, BOOM, SPIN and STAR. The percentages below are the share of all items dropped — that is, the probability that any single item in the box is that power. Prices are in coins.

Chance of at least one rare power per box

“Rare” means ZAP or BOOM. The figures below are the probability that a box contains at least one rare power among all of its items.

BoxAt least one rare
Wooden Crate48.87%
Silver Case91.50%
Gold Vault100% (guaranteed)

How the draw works

  1. Each item is drawn independently, with replacement. Duplicates are normal and expected — a Wooden Crate can contain three of the same power.
  2. There is no pity system and no bad-luck protection. Every box is statistically independent of every previous box. A run of poor outcomes does not improve the odds of later boxes.
  3. The Gold Vault contains one guaranteed rare. One of its seven slots is reserved and is always a rare power. The exact distribution of that reserved slot, and of the other six, is given in the next section.
  4. Boxes are bought with coins, not directly with money. Coins are earned by playing and can also be purchased.
  5. Free boxes use the same probabilities. Boxes awarded by achievements draw from exactly the same tables as purchased boxes.

Gold Vault — the guarantee in detail

The Gold Vault draws in two stages. One reserved slot is always a rare, split as a uniform 50% / 50% between ZAP and BOOM — it is not weighted. The other six slots use the standard distribution. The 37.76% / 12.24% figures in the table above are the combined effect of both stages across all seven items.
