Privacy Policy – Arrocade: Arrow Puzzle Escape

Last updated: 4 Aug 2026한국어

Arrocade: Arrow Puzzle Escape ("we", "our", or "us") is a casual arcade game published by theworkers (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

The App has no account and no login. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number or postal address, and we do not run a server of our own. The game is fully playable offline — nothing described below is required in order to play.

1. Information We Collect

We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the game, understand how it is played, show ads, and process purchases.

1) Information Stored on Your Device

  • Game Data: your level progress, high scores, coins, lives, unlocked items and achievements.
  • Preferences: your sound, music and haptics settings, and your privacy choices.

This save file is stored on your device and may be synced through your own iCloud account (see section 6).

2) Analytics Data

  • A random identifier generated by the App on first launch, used to tell one anonymous player's events apart from another's. It is not the Apple advertising identifier, it is never used for advertising, and it is not linked to any personal detail.
  • A small set of gameplay events, and technical properties such as app version, operating system version, device model, device type and language (see section 3).
  • Approximate location — country and city only — derived from your IP address by our analytics provider. The App never asks for location permission and never accesses your precise location.

3) Advertising Data

  • Google's Mobile Ads SDK collects its own data, including the advertising identifier (IDFA) when you allow tracking, approximate location derived from your IP address, ad interaction data and diagnostics (see section 4).

4) Purchase Information

  • Purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details, card data or receipts.
  • We record only which product was bought, as an analytics event. We do not record the price and we do not receive any payment information.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To run the game and save your progress on your device.
  • To understand how the game is played, so we can fix and improve it.
  • To show advertisements and measure their performance.
  • To process in-app purchases and honor the Remove Ads entitlement you bought.
  • To keep the App secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix bugs.
  • To respond to support requests you send us.

3. Analytics

The App uses PostHog for product analytics. Your events are tied to the random identifier described above — one your device generates, stores locally and syncs through your own iCloud — not to your identity and not to your advertising identifier.

The App records these events:

  • the app was opened;
  • a level was started;
  • a level ended;
  • a monetisation screen was viewed;
  • a purchase was completed or cancelled;
  • an ad was shown;
  • the app was sent to the background.

Each event carries app version, operating system version, device model, device type, language and how far you have progressed in the game. Your approximate location (country and city) is derived from your IP address by PostHog.

This analytics data is processed in the European Union.

4. Advertising

The App shows ads through Google AdMob. Two formats are used: occasional interstitial ads between rounds, and rewarded video ads you choose to watch (for example to continue, gain an extra life, or double your coins). Rewarded ads are always opt-in. There are no banner ads.

Google's Mobile Ads SDK collects data of its own, including your advertising identifier (IDFA) when you allow tracking, approximate location derived from your IP address, ad interaction data and diagnostics.

  • Where required, the App shows a consent form (Google's User Messaging Platform) before any personalised ads are served.
  • On iOS, the system also shows the App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can decline — the game stays fully playable, and you will simply see less relevant ads.
  • You can change your choice at any time from the privacy options row in the App's Settings, and you can reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings.
  • Remove Ads: purchasing Remove Ads stops ads from being shown in the App.

Google's use of this data is governed by its own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

5. In-App Purchases

Purchases are sold as Apple in-app purchases and handled directly by Apple's StoreKit: Remove Ads (a one-time, non-consumable purchase) and coin packs (consumable). Entitlements are verified on your device, and you can restore eligible purchases from within the App at any time.

Apple processes the payment. We never see payment details, card data or receipts — we record only which product was bought, as an analytics event, with no price and no payment information.

6. Cloud Save (iCloud)

Your game progress can sync through your own iCloud account, so it follows you across your devices. This data stays between your device and Apple — it never reaches a server of ours, because we do not run one. We cannot read your iCloud data.

7. Game Center

Leaderboards and achievements are provided by Apple Game Center. Game Center is Apple's own service: your Game Center identity, nickname and scores are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy, not by us. You can control Game Center from your device settings.

8. Notifications

The App uses local notifications only, which are scheduled on your device. There are no push notifications and no server sending them, so no device token or notification data is transmitted to us. You can turn notifications off in your device settings.

9. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that make the App work, and only as needed:

  • PostHog: to process product analytics, in the EU.
  • Google (AdMob): to deliver and measure ads, and to gather consent.
  • Apple: to process payments, sync your save through iCloud, provide Game Center, and deliver the App.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, our users, or the public.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Game data stored on your device is removed when you delete the App from your device.
  • If your save was synced to iCloud, you can review and delete it from your Apple Account storage settings (Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage).
  • Analytics events are retained by PostHog according to our configured retention period and applicable law. Because they are tied only to a random identifier, we usually need that identifier to locate them.
  • Data held by Google in connection with advertising is retained according to Google's own policies.
  • To request deletion of any data associated with you, or if you have questions, contact us at [email protected].

11. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections for any data transmitted between the App and our providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

12. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

13. Your Choices and Rights

  • Change your advertising consent at any time from the privacy options row in the App's Settings.
  • Decline or revoke ad tracking in your device settings (App Tracking Transparency).
  • Reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings.
  • Turn notifications off in your device settings.
  • Remove all on-device game data by deleting the App, and your synced save from iCloud settings.
  • Buy Remove Ads to stop seeing ads in the App.
  • Request access to or deletion of data associated with you by contacting us.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

14. Third-Party Services

The App relies on the following third parties, each with its own privacy policy:

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the App.
