Terms of Use – Unseen: Hidden Camera Detector

These terms are an agreement between you and theworkers.co, based in Istanbul, Türkiye, the publisher of Unseen: Hidden Camera Detector. By using the app you accept them. You can reach us at [email protected].

1. What Unseen is

Unseen helps you check an unfamiliar private space for cameras you did not expect. It reads the signals your phone can reach: the camera looking for the glint of a lens, Bluetooth, the local network your phone has joined, the magnetometer, and on devices that support them AR and LiDAR for room coverage. It then reports what it found and what it could not check.

2. What Unseen can and cannot do

Unseen is a detection aid. It cannot guarantee that a space is free of cameras, and it should not be your only check.

A camera can go unfound for reasons no app can overcome. It may be switched off. It may sit on a different network from the one your phone joined. It may be hidden behind material that blocks the signal, or it may simply not produce a signal your phone is able to read.

So the app reports honestly. It tells you what it found, it tells you what it could not check, and it asks you to look with your own eyes. A result that finds nothing is not a statement that there is nothing there. Please use Unseen together with your own look around the space, and use your own judgement.

Unseen does not give legal advice. If you believe you have found a camera you did not consent to, the police or the relevant authority where you are is the right place to go.

3. Free use, Premium, and billing

Free use

You can run one Quick Scan per month without paying. You can earn one extra Quick Scan in the same month by choosing to watch a rewarded video. Watching is always your choice, and nothing in the app requires it.

The plans

Unseen Premium is sold on three plans:

• Weekly, an auto-renewing subscription with a one week period. It continues until you cancel it.
• Yearly, an auto-renewing subscription with a one year period. It continues until you cancel it.
• Lifetime, a single payment. It does not renew and there is nothing to cancel.

The price of each plan is shown in the app, in your local currency, before you buy. Prices can differ by country and can change over time; the price you see at the moment of purchase is the one that applies.

How billing and renewal work

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase.
• A Weekly or Yearly subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, and your Apple ID is charged again for another period, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Your Apple ID is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time on your device: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
• Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not shorten the period you have already paid for, and you keep Premium until that period runs out.
• If a free trial or an introductory price is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.

Cancellation and refunds

Purchases are made through Apple, so cancellation and refunds are handled by Apple and not by us. We cannot cancel a subscription for you and we cannot issue a refund. To ask for a refund, use Apple’s own process at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something has gone wrong, write to us anyway and we will help you as far as we can.

4. Acceptable use

Unseen can look at devices on the network your phone has joined. That carries a responsibility, so these rules are part of using the app.

• Scan only what you have the right to check. A room you are staying in, a place you rent, a space you own, or a space you have permission to inspect.
• Do not use Unseen to interfere with, log in to, or change anyone else’s devices. The app itself does not log in to any device and does not change any device. It looks, it does not touch.
• Do not use the app to harass or follow anyone, or to get access to a network, a device or a space you are not entitled to.
• Do not try to take the app apart, work around its limits, or use it in a way the law where you are does not allow.

You are responsible for following the rules that apply where you are. If you break these terms we may stop providing the app to you.

5. Age

You need to be at least 13 years old to use Unseen. If the law where you live sets a higher age for agreeing to terms like these, that higher age applies to you.

6. Your privacy

What the app does with information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

7. Liability

Unseen is provided as it is. We work to make it accurate and useful, and we do not promise that it will find every camera, that every result will be correct, or that the app will always be available.

So far as the law allows, theworkers.co is not liable for loss or harm that follows from relying on a scan result, from a camera the app did not find, or from the app being unavailable or not working as expected.

Nothing in these terms removes a right you have under consumer law that cannot be removed by agreement, and nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page and note which version of the app they cover. If a change is significant we will point it out in the app. Using Unseen after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of the country you live in, and you may also bring a claim before the courts or the consumer arbitration body where you live.
