Terms of Use for AI Expense Tracker: Notal

These terms are an agreement between you and theworkers.co, based in Istanbul, Türkiye, the publisher of AI Expense Tracker: Notal. You can reach us at [email protected].

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using Notal, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. What Notal is, and is not

Notal is a personal income and expense tracker. You write, speak or photograph what you spent or earned, the app interprets it, and you decide what to keep. It is a simple cashflow tool: money in, money out, what is left.

Notal is not a financial advisor. Nothing in the app, whether a summary, a forecast, an insight or a suggestion, is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Any figure Notal shows you (a balance, a trend, a projection) is calculated from the entries you have confirmed and is only as accurate as what you wrote. Decisions about your money are yours alone; consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.

Notal is not a bank, and does not reconcile with one. It is not a wallet, a multi-account ledger, or a bank-statement-of-record tool. It tracks what you tell it, nothing more.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

4. Subscriptions

Free and Premium. Notal is free to use with limits (a daily entry cap, a basic dashboard, 30-day history). Premium removes those limits and adds unlimited history, restore from trash and advanced insights.

7-day free trial. New Premium subscriptions begin with a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged for the plan you selected (Annual or Monthly) at the price shown in the App Store or Google Play listing at the time of purchase. If you buy a subscription during a free trial, any unused part of the trial ends.

Auto-renewal. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period (annual or monthly) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the then-current price.

Payment and cancellation go through the store, not us. Your purchase is billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), depending on which you used to subscribe. We never see or store your card details. To cancel or manage your subscription:

• iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
• Android: Google Play → Menu → Subscriptions.

Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period, which you can keep using until it ends. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, not by us directly.

Restoring a purchase. If you reinstall the app or sign in on a new device, use “Restore purchases” on the Premium screen in the app to reconnect an existing subscription.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Notal for any unlawful purpose, or to store data you do not have the right to store.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the app, its infrastructure, or another user’s account or data.
• Use automated means to access the app outside of the app itself, except where we explicitly allow it.

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates this section.

6. Your content

You own what you write, say or photograph into Notal. You grant us the limited right to process it, including sending it to the third-party AI providers described in our Privacy Policy, solely to provide the app’s features to you. We do not sell your entries or use them for advertising.

You may delete your account and its data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. The Privacy Policy explains exactly what that removes and how long it takes.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Notal is provided as it is. We do not guarantee the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any AI-interpreted figure will be accurate. You are always in control of what is saved, and reviewing what the app proposed before relying on it is your responsibility.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, theworkers.co is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any financial decision made using information from it. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited in your jurisdiction.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms as the app changes. We will note the date of the latest change at the top of this page, and material changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use Notal after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of the country you live in, and you may also bring a claim before the courts or the consumer arbitration body where you live.
